Structure The classes are informal and fun and have been developed around conversation and the ability to interact with officialdom, shop and supermarket staff, transport staff, banks staff, etc. etc.
Susana, the tutor, is Portuguese, and speaks excellent english, and she is aware that most of us just want to be able to get by.
Because the majority of us tend to come and go, the classes are generally modular. You can try one; do a few more; go home for a few weeks; come back and join in again!
Cost The classes cost approx € 5 each per person (reduced to € 4 pp if there are more than 5 participants).
Materials Please bring a pencil and note book - there is some homework!
Duration The classes run from October to the end of March – and, if there is sufficient demand, possibly until the end of June. Susana will also host advanced and private tuition sessions, but please contact her for details and prices.
Timing & Location Classes are held from 10.30 to 12.30 on Friday mornings, in the Lounge Bar of the Marina Club Hotel.
