In the past there has been a vibrant music scene in and around the marina. Usually held on a Friday night in the Marina Hotel bar from 7:30pm. The weekly sessions usually alternate between an acoustic evening and a more "electric" evening, but as the musicians come and go, no evening is ever the same.
A wide range of genres is covered, new numbers always welcome, some dancing often takes place and all are most welcome - the form is really a "craic" as the Irish would say!! Guitars, drums, sax's, clarinets an even a "didjeridoo" have all made their presence felt, along with some hugely talented singers and players!!!
